HARRINGTON—The search for a new superintendent at the school district here is on after Wayne Massie announced he’ll be retiring at the end of the school year.
Massie has been with the district on a part-time basis for four years while commuting to Harrington from Spokane Valley. He first retired from a full-time educational career seven years ago and has been working part-time since, but this time, he said he’s hanging up his educational cleats for good.
