Sprague Chamber banquet, auction coming up

Auction to benefit four local nonprofits while new Chamber officers installed

SPRAGUE—The annual Chamber of Commerce banquet and silent/live auction will be held at the school here Monday, Jan. 17. New Chamber officers will be sworn in, and four nonprofits will earn proceeds from the auction.

Additionally, the city’s Citizen of the Year will be awarded. Last year’s winner was teacher Loi Lutes.

“Our annual chamber meeting has been going easily over 50 years,” banquet chair Joy Wilken said. “We started doing the auction about 15 years ago.”
