Ag shop receives $56,700 grant

Ag shop students hold the $56,700 check awarded by the FFA Foundation: Koren Hale, Quintyn Judt, Jared Valverde, Christian Anderson, Destiny Wiles, Auburn Sandner, Hayden Schuh, David Strode, Austin Iverson and Chad Strebeck.

Odessa – February 12, 2022- Odessa School District Ag Shop is pleased to announce receiving a grant from Washington State FFA Foundation for $56,700. Proceed will go towards the implementation and advancement of the CASE AFNR (Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources) and CASE APT (Agriculture Power Technology) Curriculum.

"I am excited to start purchasing necessary supplies to start the full implementation of CASE APT and advancement of CASE AFNR.

This hands-on, science-rich curriculum has been and will be a great asset to our students," HaLee Walter.
