City updates six-year street plan

County requests sign ordinance change to install at fairgrounds

DAVENPORT—City council passed three resolutions, reviewed the 2021 fourth quarter city budget, heard a request for a sign ordinance change and learned about the city’s updated six-year street plan at a busy council meeting Wednesday, Feb. 23.

The state requires that the city update its six-year street plan annually.

The approved plan for 2022-2027 includes one awarded project for 2022, which is phase 2 of creating community trails and links. The city has applied for funding for three more projects: Airport PAPI/weather/approach funding, a truck route alley from Third Street to 12th St...
