Council adjusts sign rules

DAVENPORT—After a brief discussion by the street committee prior to the regular meeting, city council approved a motion last Wednesday to adjust the city’s street ordinance and accommodate a request by Lincoln County Fairgrounds staff concerning the construction of a digital sign at the Fairgrounds.

Signs containing flashing, moving, intermittent or intense lights were previously banned in city limits.
