Grad season heats up

DAVENPORT—High school seniors around Lincoln County ready to conclude their grade school ventures are about to see that dream realized. Many local graduations are coming up this weekend, while a couple have either already occurred or are a couple weekends away.

Harrington graduation is first on tap this weekend, with a 6 p.m. ceremony at the school scheduled for the four local graduates.

Davenport and Odessa’s graduations are both Saturday, June 4. Odessa’s ceremony is at 11 a.m., while Davenport celebrates its graduates at 1 p.m. in the high school gym.

Sprague High School is also holding its graduation Saturday at 4 p.m.

No accompanying events, such as parades, are planned this year due to a lack of COVID-19 related restrictions at these graduations.

Reardan is waiting a weekend for its graduation. Its ceremony is at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 11, with a graduate parade through town planned the evening prior at 7 p.m.

Christian Heritage in Edwall celebrated its lone graduate in a ceremony last weekend.
