Aug. 14

Traffic stops: 28

A Spokane man reported a disabled vehicle without jumper cables or a cellphone on Highway 2 three miles east of Wilbur.

A caller reported a white bag in the middle of the road on Highway 25.

A Davenport man said a white vehicle pulling jet skis turned onto Highway 2 from Highway 25 toward Davenport without stopping at the stop sign or using a turn signal.

A Davenport man said a man was trying to sell him gold jewelry outside his house on the 900 block of Main Street so he could go to Florida.

A Davenport woman said the apartment manager at the Safeway Apartments was yelling at her 4-year-old son, telling him to “shut up” and grabbing his arm.

A woman said she was receiving unwanted attention from a man that was introduced to her by a mutual friend.

Aug. 15

Traffic stops: 14

A caller reported a man in a parked ATV in the middle of the intersection of Old Sprague Highway and Fishtrap Road.

A Reardan man said his wife was verbally abusive to him and his children.

A Harrington man said he saw two hitchhikers that looked “like lobsters from being in the sun” on Highway 28 at Tanner Road.

King County Sheriff’s Office asked for an address in Creston for a civil issue regarding a stolen vehicle.

A Texas man requested a welfare check on his sister in Creston, whom he hadn’t been able to get ahold of.

A woman reported two dogs running loose near Fourth Street in Davenport.

A Harrington man requested an ambulance for his 77-year-old wife who was having a stroke.

Aug. 16

Traffic stops: 13

A nuisance was reported on the 500 block of Southeast County Road in Wilbur.

A caller reported an annoying dog barking on the 400 block of East Broadway Avenue in Reardan.

A Davenport woman said her neighbor blocked her from going down the stairs at the Safeway Apartments while yelling at her about not yelling at her kids.

A caller said a teenage boy was shooting an airsoft gun at her 8-year-old son.

A caller reported a small truck with doors open and trash surrounding it parked in front of the Wilbur post office.

A 93-year-old female suffered a short fall and needed transportation to the hospital.

An Odessa woman said she came home to find five sheep in her driveway on the 12000 block of Eagle Springs Road East, which she let into her shop since she could hear coyotes howling.

A caller said her boyfriend became unresponsive while they were eating dinner.

Aug. 17

Traffic stops: 12

A Lincoln County Jail inmate was transported to Spokane County.

A caller said she saw a man walking on her property.

A residential burglary alarm was reported going off on the 1400 block of Sinclair Street in Davenport.

A woman said she found some tin foil in her door that she believed contained heroin. She said it was a case of continued harassment, saying she was a recovering addict and someone was trying to set her up.

A caller reported a dog sitting unattended in a car.

An open-air 911 call came from the area of Highway 25 milepost 13.

A concerned citizen dropped off a cellphone she found at Laughbon Landing on Lake Roosevelt.

A Wilbur man said the house across from Billy Burger had a door wide open with no one living inside.

A caller said a truck blew its transmission and was blocking the road on Miles-Creston Road east of Welch Creek Road.

Aug. 18

Traffic stops: 12

A jail inmate was transported to Lincoln Hospital to have blood work done for a blood pressure issue.

A caller reported people firing a rifle toward shore from a houseboat near Jump Canyon on Lake Roosevelt.

An Odessa woman said her wallet was taken from inside of her purse left on the back seat of her car in Davenport.

A caller said they locked their keys in a running van outside Trader’s in Davenport.

A caller reported a possible driver under the influence on Old Coulee Road.

A woman said someone hit her front porch and caused damage.

A Davenport woman reported speeding vehicles on Bald Ridge Road every morning.

Three lost cell phones were found by the Department of Transportation.

A residential burglary alarm was reported going off at an undisclosed address.

An illegal campfire with several girls dancing around it was reported on the beach at Laughbon Landing on Lake Roosevelt.

A suspicious vehicle was reported on Highway 2 and Roby Road west of Creston.

Aug. 19

Traffic stops: 8

A camp host at Keller Ferry said he twice talked to a group of six to eight males that were being loud and disturbing other campers.

An Idaho woman said she got in a non-injury car wreck on Highway 25 at milepost 5.

A Lincoln County Jail inmate was transported to Eastern State Hospital.

A caller said she was following a possible driver under the influence westbound on Highway 2 from Reardan.

An Odessa woman said someone was breaking items in her residence.

A panic alarm was reported going off at Wheatland Bank in Odessa.

A caller reported a recklessly driven SUV eastbound on Morgan Street in Davenport.

A Lamont woman said she was behind a large railroad truck going well under the speed limit driving in the center of Old Sprague Highway past Williams Lake Road.

A Davenport man said he lost a ramp from his trailer somewhere between Green Canyon and Fort Spokane.

A driver pulled off the side of the road because they were having a panic attack on Highway 174 at milepost 33.

A caller said someone damaged her vehicle while it was parked at Lake Roosevelt.

A bonfire was reported at Nitehawk Paintball in Ford.

A disabled vehicle with flashers on was reported on Highway 2 at milepost 256 outside Davenport.

Aug. 20

Traffic stops: 16

A Davenport woman reported a loose silver terrier running around the area of Ninth and Park Streets.

A man booked in jail requested a welfare check on his two children at home in Odessa.

A car with a flat tire was reported on Highway 25 at milepost 2.

A caller reported a strange orange tent on the beach at Hawk Creek.

A disabled vehicle was reported on Highway 2 at Leffel Road west of Davenport.

A 911 hangup call came from the Sprague area.

Aug. 21

Traffic stops: 20

A caller said a vehicle went off the roadway over an embankment between Davenport and Reardan.

A caller said a man was sitting up, then laying down on a blue Honda parked on Welch Creek Road.

An unresponsive 36-year-old male was reported.

A 48-year-old female was reported feeling faint.

An elderly couple stopped to ask for directions.

A caller reported a possible driver under the influence westbound on Highway 2 from Oehlwein Road outside Davenport.

A back door alarm was reported going off at Davenport Family Foods.

A caller reported people swimming in the Davenport pool after hours.

Aug. 18

Clinton Paul Burrill, 49, Davenport. Arrested by the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office on a charge of second-degree unlawful firearm possession.

Aug. 19

Petra Thomas Cook, 28, Odessa. Arrested by the Odessa Police Department on a charge of fourth-degree assault.

Criminal docket-Aug. 16

Stephanie L. McDuffie, who is charged with second-degree identity theft, had her hearing continued to Sept. 13. Bail remains at $5,000.

Conrad Conn Herrera was convicted of second-degree burglary and third-degree theft and was sentenced to 22 months in prison.

Larry Quincy Bronson Jr., who is charged with first-degree theft and first-degree stolen property trafficking, had his hearing continued to Aug. 30 because he tested positive for COVID-19.

Timothy Richard Bordwell, who is charged with motor vehicle theft and second-degree assault in two separate cases, had both felony charges dismissed and was directed to receive a civil commitment evaluation.

David James Buck, who is charged with attempting to elude a police vehicle and motor vehicle theft, had his hearing continued to Sept. 13. Buck posted bail of $50,000.

Victor D. Schwartz, who is charged with second-degree burglary and motor vehicle theft, had his case continued to Aug. 23.

Adrian Michael Fuentes, who is charged with attempting to elude a police vehicle, entered a not-guilty plea. A readiness hearing was set for Oct. 11 and a jury trial was set for Nov. 2.
