Harrington hosting 76th Fall Festival

HARRINGTON- For 76 years Harrington has held its annual Fall Festival. This year’s festivities are Friday, Sept. 23 and Saturday, Sept. 24.

The Harrington Opera House will have a rummage sale from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Friday.

The rummage sale will continue on Saturday with the same hours.

Also at the same time Saturday, The Harrington Opera House will have tours.

A pancake breakfast will be served in Memorial Hall Saturday from 8 a.m.. to 10 a.m.

The Huff n’ Puff Fun Run starts at 9 a.m. The race runs either as a 5K or mile and begins and ends at Third and Glover Streets.

Check in is from 8:15 - 8:45 a.m.

A $25 charge for late registration is required to enter and the run is hosted by Harrington High School FBLA.

The Harrington Homemakers are hosting the annual parade which starts at 11a.m.

The Chamber of Commerce Vendors will be selling various goods in City Park on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The Lions Club will be hosting a barbeque at city park from noon to 3 p.m.

Bingo starts in the Park at 1 p.m. and goes until 3 p.m

The Harrington Alumni gathering will be at the park as well.

The Lions Club Raffle winners will be announced at 3 p.m.
