Oct. 3
Traffic stops: 3
A pony at large was reported on Highway 28 just west of Bluestem Road.
A Davenport man said a vehicle that was in a crash on Sept. 23 was still in his field on Ziemer Road.
An officer said a youth took off running down an alley in Wilbur when he saw the officer’s car.
A suspicious vehicle was reported at the Almira Gun Club.

Traffic stops: 3
A caller from Spokane County said she had a motion alarm going off at her business in Sprague on the 100 block of East First Street.
A caller from the town of Almira reported a vehicle that had been painted with swastikas and vulgarities on the 100 block of South Third Street.
A chimney fire was reported at Lightning Nuggets in Davenport.
A caller said his wheels and tires were stolen from a Davenport residence on Main Street.
A Wilbur woman reported a non-injury car crash on Highway 2 at milepost 213.
A Davenport man brought in a cell phone that had been run over by a car on Morgan Street.
A Sprague man said someone called him and threatened to “get his crew and beat him up.”
A Davenport woman reported youths on dirt bikes riding up and down Maxwell Street near 11th Street.
A caller reported a suspicious vehicle south of the intersection between Cole Ranch Drive and Telford Road.
An Odessa woman reported a hay stacker blocking traffic near the grain elevators in town.
A Wilbur man reported a theft at his residence.

Traffic stops: 4
A sudden death was reported in Odessa on the 200 block of South Fourth Street.
A problem with a youth was reported in Reardan.
Three code violations were reported in Reardan.
Reardan Police requested a case number for an item associated with a past burglary on Hart Road north of Davenport.
A Ford man reported a blue Chevy pickup parked 50 feet from his driveway.
A caller reported two men panhandling at the park in Reardan.
A Davenport woman said she saw a man sleeping on the park bench on Morgan Street.
A caller reported a young man walking down a road that asked if he could borrow money or get a ride to a gas station.
A caller requested a welfare check on her husband, who was on a fishing trip and staying at the Keller Ferry Campground.
All the phone lines went down at the Sheriff’s Office around 10 p.m.
A Davenport man reported another man yelling at imaginary people near the gazebo by Subway.

Traffic stops: 1
A caller from Lake Roosevelt Storage north of Davenport said someone tried to break into the business the night prior.
A Wilbur woman said a man knocked on her door and asked to come in her trailer before asking for money and if she gets high. A caller reported a white truck pulling a horse trailer with erratic lane travel westbound on Highway 2 into Davenport.
A Spokane man said a sign in Davenport City Park had been broken and vandalized.
A caller reported a homeless person vandalizing cars near the Davenport skate park.
A caller said youths had jumped the fence at the Davenport Water Park and tried to get into the pool. A caller said he found a backpack filled with 20 prescription pill bottles and other drug paraphernalia items in a creek just off Highway 231 between milepost 36 and 37.
A caller said she hadn’t seen her 25-year-old daughter for two weeks.
A Spokane man requested a welfare check on his friend in Lincoln County.
A Wilbur woman said she could hear a man screaming obscenities and threatening to kill at the mini storage in town.
A Wilbur woman said she saw a house on fire north of Highway 2 on the east end of town.
A Wilbur woman said a man was in front of her house causing problems and violating a restraining order.

A Davenport man said his excavator had three to five gallons of water poured into the hydraulics causing $36,000 of damage.

A Medical Lake man reported a broken-down boat on Lake Roosevelt three miles west of Porcupine Bay.
A Davenport woman said a dog at her neighbor’s house on Merriam Street hadn’t been fed or watered for two days.
A Creston woman said she was receiving calls telling her to go to Safeway to pick up a gift card.
A Davenport man brought in a stray dog he found in front of Wheatland Bank in town.
A caller said he saw his dog get hit by a car on Miles Road in front of his driveway.
A two-vehicle non-injury car crash was reported at the Highway 231 turnoff in downtown Reardan.
A Davenport man said his neighbor put up a fence on his property.
A Davenport man reported a motorcycle speeding over 100 mph westbound on Highway 2 from milepost 260.
A vehicle lockout was reported at the football field in Wilbur.
A caller said she hit a deer heading westbound on Highway 2 into Davenport at the top of the hill.
A caller reported a man walking around Pioneer Plaza in Davenport with a beer trying to sell people marijuana.
A caller reported a campfire on Loughbon Landing near Porcupine Bay and said last time he called about this issue nothing was done because the local burn ban has been rescinded.
A caller said a car trailer disconnected from his truck and went into a ditch.

A suspicious vehicle with a man sleeping inside was reported, but the man said he was waiting to watch the birds in the morning.
A power outage was reported at Key Bank in Wilbur.
A caller reported a person in a blue Toyota that overdosed on medication.
A Wilbur man reported a vehicle lockout.
A Davenport man she almost hit a person on a dirt bike in her car.
A caller said he and his neighbor saw 3-6 youths hanging around his trash cans prowling houses.
A caller reported a half-dressed woman walking down Highway 231 by Denny Station Road trying to get people to stop and give her a ride to Airway Heights.

Traffic stops: 13
A caller reported a suspicious vehicle with a man sleeping inside at the cemetery outside Davenport. He was told to move to the Lincoln County Fairgrounds.
Multiple 911 calls came from someone whom dispatch couldn’t understand because they had a strong accent.
A Davenport woman said her neighbor on 11th Street had a German shepherd running around and growling at children in the area.
A Creston man said he found a tailgate and spade shovel left in a local gravel pit.
A Harrington man said his neighbor on First Street had her front door lock drilled out and door left open.
A Creston woman said a car was parked in her driveway on Seven Springs Dairy Road with an intoxicated man and woman inside with several children playing outside.
A Reardan woman said she found a deer carcass and a trespassing person in her leased pasture on Waukon Road and Magnuson Road.
Trespassing was reported on the 32000 block of Johns Rocky Way north of Davenport.
A person sleeping on a bench outside Speedtrap Tap House in Reardan was reported.

Oct. 4
Robyn Elizabeth Norris, 42, Kettle Falls. Arrested by Washington State Patrol on a charge of driving under the influence.
Oct. 6
Clarence Lee Chafin, 37, Wilbur. Arrested by the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office for a no-contact order violation.

Criminal docket-Oct. 4
Andrew Christopher Nilles, who is charged with first-degree burglary, fourth-degree assault and third-degree malicious mischief, waived his right to a speedy trial. A readiness hearing was set for Nov. 15 and a jury trial was set for Dec. 7.
Cody James Magruder, who is charged with first-degree burglary, conspiracy to commit first-degree burglary, two count of second-degree assault, two counts of conspiracy to commit second-degree assault, two counts of custodial assault, first-degree robbery, two counts of second-degree escape, first-degree malicious mischief and conspiracy to commit first degree malicious mischief, will have his case tried by Adams County Superior Court Judge Steve Dixon after Jeffrey S. Barkdull was disqualified from the case. Magruder’s case was continued to Oct. 11.
Damion Michael Pegram, who carries the same charges as Magruder, had his case continued to Oct. 11.
Casey Christopher Lattanzi, who is charged with second-degree burglary, had bail reduced to $10,000 after entering a not-guilty plea. A readiness hearing was set for Oct. 25 and a jury trial was set for Nov. 16. Lattanzi was forbidden from communicating with or approaching Rickey’s Corner Market in Davenport.
Jamie Rashel Kazinsky, who is charged with possession of a stolen vehicle, entered a not-guilty plea and was forbidden from contact with co-defendant Jonathan Jacob Anderson. Bail was reduced to $1,500. A readiness hearing was set for Oct. 25 and a jury trial was set for Nov. 16.
