Drill discussed at council

ODESSA- Police Chief Les Jimerson asked the council if there could be a roadblock for a mass casualty drill on Monday, Oct. 24.

The Odessa Police Department, Fire Department and Odessa Memorial Healthcare Clinic would provide various equipment for the drill.

Jimerson said they would need ten volunteers for EMTs and ten volunteers for the fire department scenarios.

He said he is still waiting on official word from the fire department on participation.

Jimerson said they would provide hot dogs, chips and drinks following the drill.
