Waterline break construction to proceed

HARRINGTON— Mayor Jess Silhan met with engineer Steven Marsh to discuss a Public and Utility Easement agreement regarding the waterline that needs repairing, Silhan said at the city council meeting on Wednesday, Nov. 9.

Silhan said the city would sign the agreement on Nov. 10.

“Equipment will start showing up a week from this Friday,” Silhan said. “Construction will start on the 21st.”

Silhan said the project should take 21 days unless there are issues due to weather or other outside factors.
