Hawk Creek Road to be paved

DAVENPORT-In April 1993, representatives from Seven Bays and Deer Meadows were the featured speakers at a Chamber of Commerce meeting. They spoke to argue that Hawk Creek Road from Davenport to Seven Bays should be completely paved, according to a Davenport Times article dated April 8, 1993.

30 years later, those representatives are about to see that wish become much more of a reality. Plans are in place to pave 5.6 miles of Hawk Creek Road with a bituminous treatment from the presently paved section near Raugust Road to just north of Blue Grouse Drive.
