Feb. 20

Traffic stops: 14

An Odessa man said a suspicious person had been sitting across from Washington Federal Bank since the night prior.

A commercial alarm was reported going off at Lincoln County District Court.

A caller reported a man looking at the cell tower on South Oak Street in Reardan.

A Davenport man said a UHaul trailer towing a car got stuck on Schumer Road and left the car about a half mile north of his driveway.

A caller said two men and two boys were stuck on a sandbar on Lake Roosevelt.

A caller requested a welfare check on his father.

A suspicious person was reported at the Harrington Food Mart.

Traffic stops: 7

A car vs. deer crash was reported on Highway 28 at milepost 104.

A Sprague woman reported a suspicious vehicle came to her home on the 400 block of North A Street and asked to buy something from her.

A man said he believed a bank account was opened in his name at a bank he doesn’t use.

An Almira man said he saw a man walking around and opening car doors on Maple and Second Streets.

A Davenport woman said she was informed by school district staff that her granddaughter’s school account and Snapchat were hacked.

A caller said he saw a suspicious vehicle eastbound on Highway 2 at Bennett Road.

A wanted person was reported at Safeway Apartments in Davenport.

Traffic stops: 0

A front door burglary alarm was reported on the 100 block of West First Avenue in Odessa.

A Wilbur city councilman said someone parked a vehicle on the sidewalk in front of the old VFW across from the local Senior Center.

Billy Burger employees in Wilbur said three people came into the restaurant and began “smoking pills” in the bathroom.

A Davenport man said he had been smelling a strong odor of human feces for a few days outside his residence.

A caller reported a suspicious black Sedan pulled off the roadway on Hawk Creek Road where the gravel turns into pavement, saying it might be relating to the later debunked-rumor of a drive-by incident related to the shooting in Reardan.

A Davenport woman said she could see smoke on the 500 block of First Street.

A Davenport woman reported a car driving on the wrong side of the road on Highway 25 at milepost 2.

Feb. 23

Traffic stops: 0

A motion burglary alarm was reported going off at Harrington Elementary School.

A caller said her mother got stuck in the snow in the canyon by her Creston home and couldn’t get to a doctor’s appointment in Spokane.

A Harrington woman reported a semitruck losing trash out of its trailer on Harrington-Tokio Road.

A Davenport woman said someone opened a fraudulent bank account in her name.

Papers were served to a woman on the 200 block of Marshall Street in Davenport.

Papers were served to a man on the 34200 block of Redwine Canyon Road in Creston.

Papers were served to a man on the 700 block of 13th Street in Davenport.

Papers were served to a woman on the 34700 block of Welch Creek Road in Creston.

Papers were served to a man on the 37900 block of Gunning Road in Davenport.

A Creston woman said she and her husband returned to their home on the 300 block of North East Adams Street and found their lights off and doors locked, which wasn’t how they’d left the residence.

A commercial alarm was reported going off at Kathy’s Market in Sprague.

Traffic stops: 4

A motion alarm was reported going off at Harrington Elementary School.

An Odessa woman said the owner of the property on the 400 block of South Alder Street where she rents a house was changing the locks without notice.

A woman requested to file new charges against her husband for domestic violence.

A Davenport man said a red minivan passed six cars at once.

A Davenport woman said her neighbors across the street left their dog outside for a half hour despite the dog’s owner being given strict instructions by law enforcement to take the dog to the vet.

A Davenport man said his ex-wife refused to meet him for a child pickup in Vantage.

A possible driver under the influence was reported.

Traffic stops: 2

A Sprague woman requested a hulk slip on a property with a title-less car.

A non-injury car crash was reported.

Identification theft was reported on the 700 block of Southeast Bell Street in Wilbur.

A Davenport man reported ongoing issues with his spouse.

A Davenport woman said unwanted people were continually going onto her property near the intersection of Rocklyn and Valley Roads.

A caller reported animal abuse.

A Reardan man reported a vehicle dispute with his ex-wife.

A Davenport man said another resident at Safeway Apartments stole his keys from his apartment front door when he left the keys in the door.

Feb. 19

Celia Ann Heimbigner, 62, Odessa. Arrested on the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO) on a charge of second-degree theft.

Feb. 21

Dorinel Nicolae Gherman, 61, Bellevue. Arrested by LCSO on a charge of vehicular assault.

Ernie Lyle Lawson, 46, Davenport. Arrested by LCSO on a charge of harassment.

Charlene Alberta Patenaude, 39, Springdale. Arrested by LCSO on an undisclosed charge.

Criminal court-Feb. 23

Cody James Magruder, Ellensburg, domestic violence protection order violation. Case dismissed.

Charlene Alberta Patenaude, Springdale, fourth-degree assault. Sentenced to one day in jail with credit for one day served, a $250 fine, 12 months supervised probation and 12 months unsupervised probation.

Traffic court-Feb. 23

Dahana Paulina Quintero, Omak, speeding 10 mph over limit and operating a vehicle without insurance. $318 fine.

Orlando Hugo Medina, Spokane, failure to renew expired tabs and operating a vehicle without insurance. $402 fine.

John Carlos Hernandez Reyes, Cheney, speeding too fast for conditions. $190 fine.

Wade Scott Starzman, Wilbur, unsafe or improper backing. Found not committed.

SUPERIOR COURT

Criminal docket-Feb. 21

Miranda Rachelle Carolus, who is charged with residential burglary, motor vehicle theft, two counts of second-degree theft and second-degree identity theft, waived her right to a speedy trial and filed a motion for case dismissal. The trial was continued to March 7.

Charlene Alberta Patenaude, who was charged with second-degree assault, displaying weapons capable of producing harm and third-degree malicious mischief, had her case dismissed after she pleaded guilty to a charge in District Court.

Russell Darold Pick, who is charged with four counts of violating a domestic violence court order, failed to appear for an arraignment. A warrant was issued for his arrest with bail set at $5,000.

Dorinel Nicolae Gherman, who is charged with vehicular assault, entered a not-guilty plea. The defendant was directed to be booked and released in Lincoln County Jail. A readiness hearing was set for April 18 and a jury trial was set for May 17.

Andrew Christopher Nilles, who is charged with first-degree burglary, fourth-degree assault and third-degree malicious mischief, called ready for trial beginning March 15.
