RIVERSIDE—A Reardan woman was killed in a two-car crash one mile north of Riverside early Wednesday morning Aug. 2.

33-year-old Rebecca L. Powelson was pronounced deceased at the scene after her 1990 Ford Ranger was rear-ended by a 2013 Dodge driven by Paul G. Ainsworth of Newport in the southbound lane of U.S. Highway 2 around 6:04 a.m. Wednesday, according to a State Patrol press release.

Ainsworth was charged with vehicular homicide after causing Powelson’s Ranger to rollover after impact, the release said.
