Tigers sweep Valley Christian

ODESSA—The Tigers’ volleyball team got back to their winning ways with a straight-sets sweep of Valley Christian Monday, Oct. 16 behind the leadership of their seniors.

Odessa dusted off the visiting Panthers 25-13, 25-13, 25-16.

Hayden Schuh led the way with 10 kills, while Melloney Deife contributed 16 kills, 11 digs and five aces.

The win brought the Tigers back to a .500 record at 6-6.

Odessa has four games remaining in the regular season before district play commences. This week, the Tigers host Chesterton Academy Thursday, Oct. 19 and Wilbur-Creston Tuesday, Oct. 24.

Both matches are scheduled to start at 6 p.m.
