Tigers win loser-out, drop quarterfinal

Odessa senior Hayden Schuh looks to get a layup over the sagging double team of the Selkirk Rangers in the Tigers' 43-18 victory in the first round of the District 7 1B Tournament Friday, Feb. 2.

WILBUR - The Odessa girls team will be playing for their season in every District 7 1B Tournament game going forward. The Tigers dominated Selkirk 43-18 in a first-round loser-out matchup Friday, Feb. 2, then dropped a quarterfinal matchup to top-seeded Curlew 47-41 Tuesday, Feb. 6.

The results mean Odessa will be playing a loser-out matchup against Republic at Deer Park High School Saturday, Feb. 10.
