DAVENPORT — The Record-Times will be Lincoln County’s official newspaper of record and will print the County’s legal advertisements.
The County Commissioners referred a bid from Free Press Publishing to the Lincoln County Auditor’s Office at the Commissioners’ regular meeting Monday, April 1.
The Cheney-based publishing company, which owns newspapers and publications in Lincoln, Adams, Spokane, Whitman and Franklin Counties, was the only business to bid on county legals this year.
Two Rodeo Arena bids forwarded
In a separate public hearing Monday, the Commissioners referred two bids for the removal of existing poles, lights and overhead wiring and installation of new poles, lights and underground wiring around the Arena at the Lincoln County Fairgrounds to fair manager Dawn Canfield for recommendation.
Spokane Valley-based Arctic Lighting & Electric bid $253,104.48 for the project, while Davenport-based Midland Electric bid $331,189.56.
