Traffic stops: 21

A caller said his friend was stranded on the side of Seventh Street in Davenport.

A Lincoln County Jail inmate was transported to Spokane.

A Davenport woman she found three horses on her property on the 36700 block of Hart Road.

A loose dog was reported at Fifth and Maxwell Streets in Davenport.

A caller said she “popped” her 16-year-old son in the mouth while arguing with him and was upset he said he was going to start defending himself when she hit him.

A Davenport man said he locked himself out of his car.

A man was arrested for driving under the influence on Highway 2 at milepost 238.

A Davenport man said he believed his neighbor stole his tools.

A Wilbur man said older youths were harassing his kids and scared his son so much that he ran away, fell and possibly broke his arm.

An Odessa woman said she was being harassed by the mother of someone who used to stay at her residence.

A Hawk Creek man said another man came to his Hawk Creek Road residence and said he couldn’t find his wife after the two went hunting. The woman was eventually found near Seven Bays.

A caller said he was following a semitruck swerving across traffic lanes on Highway 231 north of Reardan.

April 1

Traffic stops: 23

A Harrington man said a group of men were spreading rumors that he used to have a meth lab.

A Lincoln County Jail inmate was transported to Franklin County.

A 71-year-old Davenport woman said she fell and couldn’t get up on Washington Street.

A stolen bike was reported at Reardan High School.

A Mondovi woman said her husband took their children without telling her where they were going.

A woman who locked her keys in her trunk was reported.

A Davenport man said two boys rang his doorbell asking for help on the 900 block of 14th Street.

A Wilbur woman said her neighbors wouldn’t stop adding debris into her yard debris bin on the 500 block of Trinity Avenue.

A dead deer was reported on Highway 25 and Porcupine Bay Road.

Spokane Tribal Police said they received reports of a fire in the Porcupine Bay area, which was discovered to be across the river from the Bay.

Youths playing with light sabers were reported at Fifth and Morgan Street in Davenport.

April 2

Traffic stops: 28

A caller reported a horse camp with dogs running loose between Miller Ranch and Fishtrap Roads outside Sprague.

A Wilbur woman reported an aggressive dog chasing her at Richmond Street and Cliff Avenue.

A Sprague man said a senior citizen hit her head on her car after being bit by a dog on Third Street.

A caller said people were continually trespassing on her land.

A town code violation was reported in Reardan.

A caller reported fires that turned out to be on tribal land across from Porcupine Bay.

A disabled vehicle was reported on Highway 28.

A Davenport man reported older youths playing on a jungle gym meant for young children at the local preschool.

A caller said an older lady sideswiped her car in Davenport.

A man was arrested for allegedly driving under the influence and crashing into a fence in the Davenport area.

April 3

Traffic stops: 5

A Davenport woman said she got up to let out her dog and was so dizzy she couldn’t get to the door.

A vehicle vs. horse crash was reported on Highway 2 at milepost 240.

A possible rolling domestic violence case was reported on Highway 2 near the grange in Spokane County.

A caller requested a civil standby to gather her belongings from a Grand Coulee residence.

A local man said $3,000 was stolen from him.

A public nuisance was reported in Odessa.

A man was arrested on alleged assault charges in the Almira area.

A caller said 15 people with trailers and trucks were camped on a roadway and making her unable to drive down the road.

A Davenport woman said a young girl came to her house with a whiteboard with the words “help my mom” written on it. The girl turned out to have brought the whiteboard because she was mad she couldn’t go to “Nana’s house.”

A man said he believed a woman stole his van after he got out of jail.

A Montana man said he accidentally left his firearm in the bathroom of the Sprague Rest Area and it wasn’t there when State Patrol looked for it.

A Davenport man said his daughter snuck into his Jane Lane house without permission.

April 4

Traffic stops: 8

A caller reported a youth walking on the south side of Highway 2.

A caller said her purse exploded and caught on fire while she was driving, then her car rolled down a hill and crashed into another vehicle.

A caller said her daughter’s ex-boyfriend cut the power lines at her residence.

A Davenport man said someone stole his car key fob and locked him out of the house.

A caller reported a sedan parked on the side of Highway 174 and Bagdad Road.

A Davenport man reported a recklessly driven pickup truck on Highway 2 outside the city.

April 5

Traffic stops: 4

A Davenport man said his mother was in a “drug-induced psychosis” and was yelling at him in a residence on the 200 block of Marshall Street.

A dead deer was reported on Highway 2 at milepost 236.

A caller said she was arguing with two of her stepdaughter-in-laws over them trying to evict her after her husband passed away.

A vehicle stuck on Rambo Road west of Davenport was reported.

A caller said his mother went missing from a homeless shelter in Davenport. She was safely found at the local domestic violence shelter.

A Grand Coulee man said a Lakeview Terrace resident received a threatening letter.

April 6

Traffic stops: 1

Wilbur School District administration said they received reports of someone camping in the school parking lot.

A Davenport man reported youths riding dirt bikes recklessly on Hart Road.

A caller reported a possibly high, elderly female in her 50s walking a dog on Hawk Creek Road.

A caller said her aunt’s husband was screaming and yelling at her children.

A rollover crash was reported on Highway 231 and Devil’s Gap Road.

Lenetta Mary Moses, Wellpinit, third-degree driving with a suspended license and failure to stop and provide information to a law enforcement officer. Sentenced to one day in jail with credit for one day served.

Mark Erik McMurtry, Addy, fourth-degree assault/domestic violence. Case dismissed.

Criminal docket-April 2-3

Cody A. Moore, who is charged with attempting to elude a police vehicle, false reporting to a public officer and obstructing a law enforcement officer, had a warrant quashed as his case is likely to be remanded to District Court. A readiness hearing was set for June 4.

Bradly Gene Hawley, who is charged with second-degree assault/strangulation, entered a not-guilty plea. A readiness hearing was set for May 21 and a jury trial was set for June 12.

Litzy Arvizo, who is charged with vehicular homicide and vehicular assault, entered a not-guilty plea and was booked and released in Lincoln County Jail. A readiness hearing was set for May 21 and a jury trial was set for June 12.

Warren Roy Staves was convicted of second-degree theft and sentenced to 30 days in jail with a $500 fine.
