April 28

Traffic stops: 20

A broken-down Mazda was reported on Highway 2 at milepost 229.

A caller said someone dropped a lot of garbage on the side of the road on Old Sprague Highway Road just before Brown Road.

A vehicle with poor lane travel was reported on Highway 174 at milepost 34.

The FBI and Airway Heights Police Dept. asked for deputies to be on the lookout for a missing woman suspected of having been kidnapped and was eventually found.

A caller said his wife and he experienced a harsh burnt chemical smell that burned the back of their throats on Highway 25 at milepost 3.

April 29

Traffic stops: 10

A 77-year-old man having trouble breathing was reported on the 28800 block of Schumer Road in Mondovi.

A Davenport couple said their neighbors’ dog was barking all day and night on the 1400 block of Sinclair Street.

Assault was reported in Reardan.

A caller said her ex-husband was possibly squatting at a house on the 100 block of Airport Loop in Seven Bays.

A Spokane man said the Sheriff’s Office was covering up a crime and wouldn’t take his report.

A two-vehicle crash that resulted in one driver suffering a broken leg was reported on Highway 174 at milepost 24.

A Davenport man requested a deputy check on his van in front of his house on the 500 block of Ninth Street because he believed there were people and dogs in the van.

A Harrington man said he saw fireworks being set off on the 300 block of Glover Street.

April 30

Traffic stops: 5

A Reardan woman said a postal employee was bitten by a dog on the 33100 block of Crescent Road.

An Edwall woman reported a woman walking down Waukon Road requesting a ride to Airway Heights.

A citizen was contacted on the 500 block of Broadway Avenue.

A Wilbur woman reported a high school student speeding in her neighborhood. The student’s mother was contacted and said she already talked to her son about “driving like a dumbass.”

A man asked a question about jaywalking on Morgan and 11th Streets in Davenport.

A caller reported a man screaming outside a residence near Odessa Memorial Healthcare Center.

Almira Valleywide reported a man sitting on their dock outside their bay door yelling at people.

A caller requested a welfare check on a man living at an area trailer park.

A Sprague woman said she was alerted to the loud noise of a car in her driveway.

A vehicle parked with its doors open was reported.

May 1

Traffic stops: 3

Suspicious activity was reported at Mountain View Cemetery outside Davenport.

A North Carolina police sergeant asked for a deputy to contact a Creston man about opening a Capital One account, as the sergeant was investigating possible ongoing fraud.

A 2-car crash was reported a block south of Harrington School.

An Edwall woman said a man that was staying in a trailer on their property was yelling and screaming at her and another man while carrying knives.

A Davenport woman said the dog on the 800 block of Maxwell Street barks all night long.

A Davenport woman said she saw a child throw a rock at a neighbor’s window on the 700 block of Main Street.

A Davenport man said hay bails were scattered all over the road.

A caller said two people were looking into her truck, then drove off when she saw them. The people said they were actually playing Pokemon Go.

A caller reported a swerving black car on Highway 2 heading into Davenport.

A commercial burglary alarm was reported at Odessa Foods.

A Sprague man said he saw a man beating a woman at the Sprague Motel.

An Odessa man said he found his cat in his neighbor’s garage and wanted it back on the 400 block of Second Avenue.

May 2

A commercial burglary was reported in Odessa.

A Davenport man reported a possibly stolen Dodge Durango because of a probate situation.

Spokane Police requested help detaining two suspects on the 8300 block of Jack Brown Road.

An Odessa man said another man was circling his house in an SUV to intimidate him.

A truck driver evidently spinning his tires and throwing rocks was reported at the Chevron in Sprague.

A Seven Bays man said he heard gunshots near his home on the 500 block of Hunt Lane.

May 3

Traffic stops: 5

An email from a Reardan mobile home tenant saying they were fired from their employment as managers of the trailer park and wanted to rescind most trespassing orders they had issued.

Theft was reported in Reardan.

A caller reported a car in the ditch between Creston and Wilbur.

A case number for a cold commercial burglary at a currently empty building that was formerly a hotel in Odessa.

A caller said youths were hiding bikes near an RV park.

A vehicle lockout was reported at Big Bend Golf Course in Wilbur.

A 2-car crash resulting in three injuries was reported on Highway 2 at milepost 243.

A Grand Coulee woman reported a mentally unstable woman on her doorstep that wanted to be taken away.

A caller said a semitruck crashed through a barrier and fence and was possibly leaking fluid at Rocklyn and Coffeepot Roads.

A caller said her husband hadn’t responded to her calls or texts and went fishing alone at Coffeepot Lake.

May 4

Traffic stops: 13

A Lincoln Hospital employee requested a deputy response due to some family dynamic issues from patients transported there from earlier accidents.

A second crash was reported on Highway 2 at milepost 243, with one person transported to Lincoln Hospital.

A Davenport man said he locked his keys in his car.

A Davenport woman said a man was sleeping at City Park while a child’s birthday party was ongoing.

A commercial burglary alarm was reported going off at the Mary Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery outside Sprague.

A telephone pole falling on a man was reported on the 400 block of Laurel Street in Reardan.

A caller said a person was trespassing at her house on the 400 block of Portland Avenue in Wilbur.

A caller said a group of youths were riding 4-wheelers up and down the streets.

A Davenport man said a long box diesel truck was speeding over 80 mph on Highway 2 into Davenport.

A house party with much underage drinking was reported on the south side of Odessa.

Semone Lee Reuben, Omak, third-degree driving with a suspended license and operating a vehicle without a license. Sentenced to eight days in jail with credit for five days served, 12 months supervised probation and 12 months unsupervised probation.
