Lincoln County Fire District No. 6, Sheriff's Office and Dept. of Natural Resources crews investigate the scene of a helicopter crash near Bluestem Wednesday, June 19.
BLUESTEM - Two people were killed in a helicopter crash north of Bluestem and Linstrum Roads between Davenport and Harrington around 4:26 p.m. Wednesday, June 19.
The two deceased had not been identified Wednesday evening, and next of kin hadn't been completed by press time. Lincoln County Fire District No. 6 confirmed the crash killed those on board the private Robinson R-44 helicopter.
The crash started a small, roughly 1-acre fire in stubble and sagebrush that crews quickly controlled.
