Reardan train museum celebrates eight years

Eight years later, museum offers rail rides

REARDAN - To celebrate its eight-year anniversary, the Inland Northwest Rail Museum is offering a western themed train ride on August 10 at its location at the juncture of Sprinkle Road and Highway 2, two miles west of town.

"It will be a fun event for kids," museum president Dale Swant said. "I suspect they might even witness a train robbery. Instead of robbing the passengers, the bandit is going to hand out goodies to the kids."

The museum is open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Train rides will be at 11 a.m., 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. in a full size passenger car.
