Bernice Melcher, 92 passed away peacefully on Sept. 3, 2024, at her home in Odessa, Wash. She was born Feb. 15, 1932, to John and Matilda Tillie, Frieske Lobe in Odessa, Wash. She married Kenneth Melcher on Aug. 21, 1949, and they celebrated 65 years together. Bernice was preceded in death by her parents, husband Ken 2015, brothers Leonard, Harold, and Clinton Lobe; sisters Alma Lobe and Doris Melcher; and half-brother Steve Lobe.
