ODESSA — The dismissal of an alleged whistleblower following concerns over potential asbestos exposure at Odessa Memorial Healthcare Center was a key topic of discussion at the hospital board meeting on Thursday, Dec. 30.

A hospital employee, Barbara Vogelsank, said she was placed on administrative leave after raising concerns about possible asbestos in flooring glue during hospital renovations.
