LIND - Start your engines.
The 2025 racing season kicks off this weekend, March 15-16, with the Northwest Rally Association's season-opener in the Lind Lions Club Arena.
"This is rallycross racing," association co-founder Katie Lobkovich said. "It's really, really great fun."
According to Lobkovich, rallysport racing pits a driver and their machine against each other and the clock.
Racers compete for the best times across a dirt track in the arena, a gravel course and even a paved street course.
Racers accrue penalties if they cannot complete the course "clean and true," she said.
