SPOKANE – After defeating Napavine in the first round of the WIAA 2B Girls State Basketball Tournament last week in Cheney, the Screaming Eagles earned the right to play under the bright lights and in front of huge crowds as the tournament moved into the Spokane Arena March 6-8. Noted on the team's resume was a record of 22-2, the best since 2013. The Screaming Eagles capped their superb season by taking home the fifth place trophy after going 2-2 in tournament play.
