Newspaper has new email addresses

DAVENPORT — The Lincoln County Record-Times has upgraded its email system, making it easier to contact the correct departments.

The new emails went live on Monday, April 9.

New emails include:

• Advertising@odessarecordcom to reach Kelli Wilkie.

• Editor@odessarecord.com to reach Olivia Harnack.

• Sports@odessarecord.com

• Obits@odessarecord.com to reach Yolanda Castillo for obituary submissions.

• Classifieds@odessarecord.com to reach Yolanda Castillo for classified advertising.

• Subscriptions@odessarecord.com to reach Linda Kraft for subscriptions.

• Legals@odessarecord.com tp reach Liz Powell for legal and public notices.

• Bookkeeper@odessarecord.com to reach Jennett Meyer

• Publisher@odessarecord.com to reach owner/publisher Roger Harnack.

Owner Roger Harnack said the reason all emails are @odessarecord.com is so they align with the Record-Times webpage.

“Prior to merging the Davenport Times and Odessa Record a couple years ago, the only website providing news in the county was odessarecord.com,” he said. “Since we already have that website domain, and since we have thousands of online readers on it already, we opted to tie our email account to our webpage.”

The move shifts the newspaper away from using third-party vendors and will improve email communications for readers, advertisers and staff, he said.

Some emails — like those for circulation, subscriptions, obituaries and legal notices — are routed to our main Free Press Publishing office in Cheney, where we have staff dedicated solely to those inquiries.

“We hope this change will improve communications and access between readers, advertisers and our staff,” Harnack said.
