LYONS FERRY — The state Department of Fish and Wildlife has opened a four-day window to catch Chinook salmon on the Snake River.
The window opened Tuesday, June 3, and closes Friday, June 6.
Fishermen can catch and keep Chinook from the Texas Rapids boat launch upstream to the boundary below Little Goodse Dam and from the mouth of the Snake River upstream to the boundary below Ice Harbor Dam.
Only four hatchery fish longer than 12 inches are allowed. Barbless hooks are required.
