Ahead of Fourth of July weekend
DAVENPORT — As temperatures climb and wildfire risk intensifies, fire districts across Lincoln County are enacting burn bans, with the National Park Service imposing some of the most stringent restrictions leading into the Fourth of July weekend.
A total fire ban will take effect at Lake Roosevelt National Recreation Area at 12:01 a.m. On Wednesday, July 3, the National Park Service announced.
