Council reviews grants, street plans

DAVENPORT - The City Council met for its regular session Wednesday, July 23, addressing key infrastructure, personnel and grant items while also hearing updates from local and state officials.

Among the new business, the council approved a resolution setting a hearing date for the proposed vacation of a portion of 10th Street and an adjacent alley. The hearing will be held at 7:05 p.m. Tuesday, August 13, at City Council Chambers.
