SAVANNAH, Ga. - A Davenport High School junior placed fifth in the nation in the 4x100 mixed relay at the 2025 USATF National Junior Olympic Championships at Ted Wright Stadium.
Representing Spokane Speed Academy, David Coriell, 16, said the atmosphere was electric, describing the intensity of lining up on the track surrounded by some of the nation's fastest young athletes.
"There was a lot of speed there," he said. "Many people were competing for the national title, and it was just really intense."
Coriell, the son of Joanne and Allan Coriell, competed in the 4x100 relay and 4x100 mixed relay...
