Group expands local outreach to county

SPRAGUE - A Spokane-based nonprofit biker group is participating in Sprague Days on Sept. 13 and plans to expand its presence here.
Scooter Dearing, 54, of Sprague, is vice president of the Refound Rebels, a nonprofit motorcycle group with members in Washington and Idaho.
Dearing said the group organizes events to raise money for people facing hardship.
"We hear people who need money in hard times and we bring the biker community and everyone else who wants to come to an event with food and raffles and other events," he said.
