Voyeurism case is set for trial

DAVENPORT — A Davenport man accused of first-degree voyeurism will face a one-day trial Wednesday, Sept. 10, in Lincoln County Superior Court.

“Judge, we are ready,” said defense attorney David Hearrean, representing Austin A. Anderson, 24.

Honorable Judge Jeffrey S. Barkdull presided over the readiness hearing Tuesday, Aug. 19.

Deputy Prosecuting Attorney Ty Albertson told the court the state will present one exhibit and call two witnesses. The exhibit list is due the Friday before trial. Proceedings are scheduled to begin in the morning.

Anderson was arrested Oct. 22, 2024, after deputies alleged he recorded a 19-year-old girlfriend without consent during private moments, according to court records.
