Four-month sentence recommended
FORD - A local man accused of cutting trees without permission and possessing stolen firearms was sentenced Tuesday, Aug. 26, in Lincoln County Superior Court.
Thomas Holt, 53, of Ford, pleaded guilty after prosecutors amended his charges to two counts of second-degree unlawful possession of a firearm and one count of third-degree theft. He had originally faced three counts of unlawful possession of a firearm, possession of a stolen firearm and third-degree theft.
