Man admits to charges; then released
Steven Michael Mawyer, 43, of Spokane, pleaded guilty in Lincoln County Superior Court Tuesday, Aug. 26.
SPRAGUE - A Spokane man accused of making threats to shoot residents in Sprague and later attempting to flee from police pleaded guilty Tuesday, Aug. 26, in Lincoln County Superior Court.
Steven Michael Mawyer, 43, entered a guilty plea to one count of felony harassment-threats to kill and one count of attempting to elude a police vehicle. His attorney, Victoria Iverson, appeared on his behalf.
Deputy Prosecuting Attorney Bruce Cox told the court Mawyer frightened residents after showing up at a home and making violent threats.
