Black bear season underway in county

DAVENPORT — The 2025 black bear hunting season in Lincoln County, running Aug. 1 through Nov. 15, is now underway in the Columbia Basin Black Bear Management Unit.

Hunters must follow strict regulations to ensure a sustainable season, with a stable bear population and a bag limit of two adult bears, officals say.
