Raises $2,800 for youth sports

ODESSA - The Odessa Athletic Booster Club raised $2,800 at its 12th Annual Golf Scramble to fund insurance for local youth sports programs, meeting its primary goal for the event.
"Our main goal was to raise enough funds to pay for youth sports insurance," said Chelsea Watson, an organizer with the booster club. "We met the goal."
The funds will cover insurance costs for Odessa Flag Football, Odessa Little Dribblers, Odessa Volleyball, and Dance, directly benefiting young athletes in the community, Watson said.
