Davenport runners take fourth

NEWPORT — Davenport’s cross-country team charged through a challenging course at the NE 1B/2B League Meet on Tuesday, Oct. 7, at Newport High School, earning a top-four finish and strong individual times in the 5,000-meter races.

Northwest Christian (Colbert) claimed the boys’ team title with 39 points, followed by Chewelah (52), Republic (77) and Davenport (94).
