District secures new funding
ODESSA — The Odessa School District #105 approved two grants to support staff development and mentoring programs during its regular board meeting on Wednesday, Oct. 22.
The board accepted an anonymous $37,000 grant for professional development and a $5,500 BEST Mentor grant to fund mentoring for new staff members. Superintendent Steve Fisk said the funding will be used to support teacher training and classroom instruction.
