Low turnout in county election

Final count set for Nov. 25

DAVENPORT — With only seven ballots left to count, the Lincoln County Auditor’s Office reported updated results for the Nov. 4 general election on Thursday, Nov. 6, showing incumbents maintaining strong leads in most city, school, and district races.

As of 3:29 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 6, 3,764 ballots had been counted out of 8,811 registered voters, marking a 42.72% turnout, according to the county elections office. The election is scheduled for certification on Nov. 25, with the next ballot count set for Friday, Nov. 14, at 4 p.m.
