Finishes 81st at Nike Cross Regionals

SPOKANE - Local runners from Lincoln County tested themselves against the Northwest's top high school cross country talent on Nov. 15, at Spokane's Polo Grounds during the debut of the Nike Cross Regionals Northwest.
Davenport eighth-grader Jackson Henry competed independently in the junior high 3K race and finished 81st out of 154 in 11:34. Without a team or postseason coach, Henry ran on his own through the rolling hills. His regular-season coach, Brian Telford, said the performance demonstrated drive and determination.
