Reardan girls fall to Bonners Ferry in close game

REARDAN - The Bonners Ferry girls basketball team, which plays at Idaho's 4A level, beat the Screaming Eagles 55-50 in a see-saw battle on Tuesday, Dec. 30, to win the 79th annual Reardan Lions Club Christmas Tournament.

For three quarters, neither team could gain separation from the other, as they matched each other basket-for basket. After one quarter, Reardan led 17-15. Bonners Ferry took the halftime lead 29-27 and took a 40-39 into the fourth quarter.
