DAVENPORT — A Spokane man accused of driving under the influence in Lincoln County appeared in Superior Court this week as attorneys signaled the case may soon be resolved without a trial.
“Judge, we have done some extensive work on this case and we have reached an agreement,” public defender Dave Hearrean told the court.
Hearrean asked that the trial dates be stricken and the matter continued one week to allow for a change-of-plea hearing. Lincoln County Superior Court Judge Adam Walser granted the request, setting the hearing for Tuesday, Jan. 20.
