Victim asks to lift no-contact order

ODESSA — A woman asked a Lincoln County judge Tuesday to drop a domestic violence no-contact order against her boyfriend, but the judge declined to do so for now as the case could be sent to District Court, according to court records.

Austin Douglas Barnes, 40, of Odessa, appeared in person for a readiness hearing before Judge Adam Walser, according to court records. Prosecutor Ty Albertson represented the state and public defender Dave Hearrean represented Barnes.
