DAVENPORT — An 84-year-old veteran who has survived three strokes, open-heart surgery with seven bypasses, prostate cancer, colon surgery and congestive heart disease is pedaling a recumbent tri across the country on a nearly four-month journey to support homeless veterans and first responders.
Tony Lee Harriman said he wanted one of his last adventures “to be big benefit a cause close to home and heart.”
