Loose horse on highway

GRAND COULEE — A brown horse wearing a bridle was reported walking along State Highway 174 near Milepost 26 shortly after 2 a.m. April 14, according to Lincoln County sheriff’s office records.

Deputy B. Martin responded to the animal problem call but was unable to locate the owner. The horse left the roadway and could no longer be found, the report states.
