Former owner may have to pay for towing
SPRAGUE — An abandoned boat on a trailer with a flat tire and garbage inside was found partially blocking a rural road near Lamont on Memorial Day, May 25.
According to Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office records, deputy Chad Cunningham responded to the intersection of Williams Lake Road East and Care Road North after an off-duty deputy reported the boat and trailer partially in the lane of travel.
The trailer did not have a valid registration and the boat’s hull number showed it was last registered in 2016 to Brian Lynn Sherman of Spokane, records show.
