Council grants 60-day extension

ODESSA — The Town Council has approved a 60-day extension for cleanup of a dilapidated and neglected First Avenue property.

During a Monday, July 13, meeting, the council granted Brianna Johnson, the owner of the 405 E. First Ave. property, the extension to get the property assessed and cleaned up.

Johnson, 20, of Ritzville, inherited the property from her late mother, Ley Ann Belisle.

“Tomorrow would be the one-year anniversary since my mom passed,” Johnson told the council. “We’ve made progress.”
