Hospital eligible for grants

ODESSA — Odessa Memorial Healthcare Center is eligible for up to $693,767 through the Rural Health Transition Funds program for improvements to computer systems, cabling and switches.

During a June 25 Lincoln County Hospital District No. 1 commission meeting, hospital CEO Jim Parker also reported eligibility for up to $316,354 through the Distress Hospital Grant. He said he is already working on an application for the rural health funds.
