Parker replaces outgoing Vince Oliver
ODESSA - A veteran rural hospital administrator with experience turning around critical access facilities has been selected as CEO of Odessa Memorial Healthcare Center.
Jim Parker, 58, was hired by Lincoln County Public Hospital District No. 1 (Odessa) commissioners after serving in leadership roles at rural hospitals in Kentucky, West Virginia and Michigan.
He replaces interim CEO Vince Oliver, who agreed to stay until a permanent leader was found.
Parker said he has spent nearly his entire career outside major cities and traffic jams.
