Water purveyors share challenges

DAVENPORT - Area water system representatives gathered Thursday, July 16, at Memorial Hall to share challenges with declining groundwater and aging infrastructure.

The Lincoln County Water Purveyor Listening Session, organized by the Columbia Basin Sustainable Water Coalition, drew elected officials, public works employees and water system operators from Reardan, Harrington, Creston and other towns.

The session is one in a series to discuss regional planning and funding priorities.
